Intensive Programme -DeVos Institute

Homer Parranderos have been selected as a participant of a year long Arts Programme to develop the management skills and marketability of our band. This programes is funded by the Ministry of Arts and Multiculturalism and we intend to fully make use of this opportunity to be able to represent our country.

Parang Reigns 2 (2015) - Upcoming

Parang "Reigns" is the second annual premiere event organised by Homer Parranderos within the region of Sangre Grande. This is where the music of Parang would "reign" upon the region and the public would be treated to the sounds of live parang music from local bands. This is a free event and all are welcome. There would also be guest artists and giveaways.
Persons are asked to contribute their spare change to our Childrens charity parang treat that would be held for the less fortuante children within the S/ Gde region in December.
We look forward to seeing all the supporters of traditional music. So bring out all your friends and families..
Ist ever parang camp for children was held in the Sangre Grande region from July 06th - 31st 2015 (9am -3pm) at Sangre Grande Government primary school. Free to all participants with lots of fun activities from art and craft, singing tips, learning to play a musical intrument, learning about culture, field trips and lots more.
